Harvey G. Craig was Rosemary’s brother.
“Harvey G. Craig Enterprises Inc., has recently completed the purchase of Franke’s Twin Pools and Picnic park, at Telegraph road and Fine road. The amusement facility was constructed by the Franke interests about eight years ago and has been operated by the family since that time. The thirty-acre area is improved with two large swimming pools with modern locker and change rooms, a fully equipped snack bar, and . picnic pavilions. Another feature of the park is a miniature railroad, complete with engine and five cars, carrying passengers over a mile of track. The new owners are planning additional attractions that will include skeet trap shooting, all weather handball and tennis courts, pony – rides, water basketball hay… rides, fly casting contests and other amusement actlvities. The purchasers are headed by Harvey G.Craig, Imperial laundromat operator. Associated with Mr. Craig, as secretary-treasurer of the corporation, and manager of the park, is J.T. “Jack Tiley, former presiding Judge of Jefferson county. Reservations for the 1963 season are now being received. Exact opening date which is to be in May, will be announced later.
