2020 marks the 60th anniversary of Bob and Claude Jr getting their Masters in Business Administration from Washington University in 1960. Bob told Steve there wasn’t a thesis required.
According to Bob, Claude Jr had a unique trick when getting a new pair of Levi jeans. Without washing the jeans he’d wear them and go to the ice skating rink in Pasadena, CA. He’d build up speed on the rink, and then slide on his new jeans, leaving a blue stripe on the ice. […]

Bob recalled this story from 1948 in California. Claude Jr was about 15. A classmate Tom was riding a bicycle and was struck by a car. He went through the windshield and it severed his carotid artery. Luckily for him a Doctor was passing by and stopped, tying off the artery and the boy survived. […]
